I found this image last week during the failed Urca internet exploration of 2010. There is a possibility that this is Carmen Miranda with a huuge dog. I'm not 100% about that because I can't read Portuguese but that is what I picked up anyway. Wouldn't it be horrific if that dog was real? With that huge beady eye? freaky.

ReplyDeleteThat is Victor, the dog that was listening into the large Victrola 'horn' while a record was on the turntable.
You can find him in magazines c. 1910-1950.
Don't ask me why I know all this....
