There is an interesting article on the Huffington Post about Saks starting to carry plus-sizes in a whole variety of designers, including Chanel. Took them long enough, didn't it? How nice of Kaarl to relax his supposedly strident rules on body shape.
I thought this was an interesting article too, especially for those who sew, discussing ( a little bit) the difficulties of pattern making for plus-size women and their many different proportions. It's not something I ever really thought about, since it's difficult for any women to get the correct proportions in their clothing. Ah well, I'm sure Kaaarl will overcome the problem!
Woo Hoo, they're going to sell up to a size 14! I don't consider that plus size; that's the size of the average American woman!
