Burberry campaign

Continuing my Harry Potter themed blog day, here is Emma Watson (Hermione) as the face of Burberry for the Fall 09 ad campaign. I have to say, I don't love the ads, something just isn't quite right to me. Does anyone else see that, or is it just me?

Hermione..

You've probably already seen this pics of Emma Watson (hermione from Harry Potter) shoot for Teen Vogue..last month? Maybe the month before? But, I thought they turned out really well (as they should considering she is now the face of Burberry) and in honor of the fact that E & I are going to the midnight HP & the Half Blood Prince tonight (geeks!) I thought Hermione ought to be blogged about. Anyone else going tonight?

Donkey Kong

So, we didn't have a Nintendo or any other gaming system growing up and consequently I'm terrible at video games. One time I tried playing the Harry Potter xbox game he got me and I got stuck in a room 2 minutes into the game and couldn't find my way out. On our Nintendo (an original one) I will start playing and by the time he has gotten a drink and come back I've lost all three lives and he goes on to win the whole thing.

That however doesn't seem to temper my weird interest in having these Blik video game wall stickies in my house. No, there is no room in which the would match, and I normally am not a fan of big monkeys, but I seem to have a soft spot for Donkey Kong. Oh well, maybe when I master the video games I can get the stickers. (i.e. never!)

Emmy-Ray jewelry

We even have some new Emmy-Ray jewelry in--she is trying a new concept with the tiny drawings, which I think turned out really cute. And of course, there is a classic Emmy-Ray skull!

Talking Squid

We also got in new Talking Squid bags and headbands....that are awesome! Seriously, I've never had a headband on that looked as good as these. Maybe because my hair is now longer than it has been for about 20 years, but these headbands are the best....

Fabrics!

My blogging issue last week totally threw me off course, and I think I forgot to show you our fun new fabrics! Back by popular demand (and discontinued, so if you want it, come get it!) is our Paris fabric, there is a new I love Britain fabric, and candy colored carousel horses. Carousel horses--people, it just doesn't get any better than that!
