ANH Hem & Haw

Have you heard what's going on for the next couple of weeks down in the Crossroads? The America Now and Here cross country exhibit will be in KC for the month of May. This is an exhibit that was spearheaded by artist Eric Fischl as a response to the ongoing angry and close-minded dialogue that has been plaguing the country. Fischl designed this exhibit with the help of a huge number of different artists in different disciplines (everyone from Lou Reed to Jeff Koons to Leonard Nimoy) to bring people together through the shared experience of art.

There will be a number of exhibits and events through May (see the calendar here) and we are excited to announce that we will be part of one! On May 11th from 6-8 we will participating in a Hem & Haw at the Leedy Voulkos gallery. I will be one of a panel of crafty folks discussing crafting in our society, and of course during this conversation the audience will have space for some crafting on their own. It's a craft night/event/panel discussion!

So hopefully we will see you next week on the 11th, but don't forget to check out the rest of the events this month there are a lot of great ones.
