Lotta Jansdotter is coming out with a fabric line! Doesn't it seem like she should have done that, years ago? Well, better late than never. I must go and track it down for the store!

Bouroullec Brothers

I love this idea. The Bouroullec Brothers, a French sibling design team designed this installation to rethink the way people look at art. "Normally here you feel the need to stand in silence. On theTextile Field the mind is freed to appreciate the space and the artworks." There is a great video on the Nowness site where you can see the whole installation process. 

 And here you can see the work in process as we gladly took refuge during our visit to the Victoria & Albert museum a couple of weeks ago. Can I just say, that every museum needs a comfy nap spot. My feet thank you Bouroullec Brothers! Look, E is already asleep!

This just in!

You can tell it's almost the Holiday season; boxes are pouring in the store, getting us stocked for shopping. Today was two boxes of gorgeous books and stationary, and yesterday we received another Ghastly pattern. I love new stuff in the store, it just freshens everything up!

Decoupage pumpkins

 This year instead of carving pumpkins, I decided to try something new..decoupage! I used our Alexander Henry Ghastly fabric and a little Mod Podge, and made some scary cute pumpkins!

We should have more Ghastly fabric coming in this week. Maybe it's time to cover a GIANT pumpkin..

Bedroom Action Plan

 I've finally made a plan. I will stop complaining about my bedroom's lack of loveliness and take action! I'm sticking with my apple green walls and bringing in a lot of white and grey to brighten things up. I found some gorgeous green/gray/white rooms online that I'm using for inspiration.
