I'm in love with the personalized vintage-style posters you can order from Chicago based Alexander & Co. They have posters from city after city for all your wedding needs (even some great KC prints) and I love the children's section. Would it be too weird to order the Swan Lake print with my own name? I'm pretty sure it's the only time I'll ever have my name on a dance poster!!

Little Coffee Bean Sweater by e

Since my best friend is an excellent knitter (and taught me! Thanks T!) I wanted to sew her baby clothes but I just couldn't resist knitting a tiny sweater. The Little Coffee Bean sweater pattern is free on ravelry  and turned out adorably in two shades of purple Cascade Greenland superwash wool. This yarn is fantastic and I love the way it feels, soft enough for a baby but springy and warm as well. Yes, it is going off in the mail tomorrow so I guess I should really go and decide on some buttons, eh?

New Kokka fabric

Well, it's been a long wait for these, I think I ordered them in December. Yowza! Oh well, it's worth it for some gorgeous Melody Millers, a new Nani Iro (flannel!) some cute owls and giraffes wearing top hats. Yes, I said giraffes wearing top hats. Oh, you know you want it..

Incommunicado

Oops, so sorry it was a bit quiet here last week. As in silent. I was a busy B all week and just didn't have a chance to sit down and say Hi.

To prove it,  I'll show you what I was up to.

I made a dress.

 Had a Champagne Cocktail.

 Did a lot of gardening (raised beds! Rose bushes!)

And on Sunday, a trip to the library. I went for 3 specific books and didn't find a single one. I think I found some good alternatives however...
