We just received some gorgeous new necklaces from Seek Designs...here are some of my favorites..

Jonathan Adler pillow..

So, round about 12 weeks ago, J and I used a gift certificate to order a personalized Jonathan Adler pillow..so fun. Of course, we had to go through almost all the colors and patterns until we found just the right combo, and it has finally arrived! I couldn't wait to show you..I'll be sure to take some pics of it in it's new home the bedroom too!

The Wash! Crafty Chicks come clean

Not only has Jeanee been busy making bath fizzies, but she also wrote a blog post about us! Complete with goofy pics of E and I, it's a lovely little look at our store! Check it out here.. Bath Fizzies

Jeanee from Dirty Laundry has kicked her bath fizzies into summer gear, and we have a whole slew of delicious smelling and looking fizzies! Aren't they so pretty together? It really is a shame that they aren't edible..

Colette and Modkid patterns

New patterns just in: Colette and Modcloth!

We got in a new colette pattern, the Oolong dress, which is really cute..also back in the store are the ever popular Beignet skirt and the Sencha shirt. Also check out the two patterns we got from Modkid--I think they are so cute!

Wonder Thunder veggie bags and tea towels!

I think it's really cool that so many people have embraced the reusable shopping bags to use at the grocery store, but am I the only one that still comes how with a million little plastic bags that I've put my veggies in? Well, no more! Because we got the new Wonder Thunder veggie bags at bon bon! They come in red, blue and green and they are so useful..to be honest, I got a set last October and haven't been shopping without them since..(and they are made with organic cotton, so they are super environmentally friendly!)

We also got in some of their totally adorable teatowels--which are so soft!

Gucci circa '95

So, a couple of weeks ago Mrs. Blandings took a reader poll asking the question: What are some of the most significant design moments of the last 20 years? I have to admit (although I got all distracted and forgot to comment) that, out of the blue, the first thing I thought of was Tom Ford's work at Gucci. I feel like the ad campaigns from those first few seasons are seared on my brain, they were just such a shot in the dark. Oooh, how I still yearn for those velvet pants and patent boots.

I was very glad to see that others thought the same. Check out what else they said here. And what do you think?

Today is the birthday of two of my most favorite people ever!
