Quilt Market recap: Melody Miller

My other favorite booth at market was Melody Miller's. I mean, I love her fabric (who doesn't?) but when I rounded the corner and saw this, I was ready to move in. It was so fantastic, and gave me so many ideas for her fabric.

Also, she was so incredibly nice. She even let us sneak away with a couple of her booth samples (which I'm keeping hidden from you for the time being..don't worry it will be worth it) I think the biggest thing I took away from this booth was an unquenchable desire to reupholster some chairs in her fabric. I'm thinking about her upcoming 45" record fabric, but it's still up in the air..

Thank you Melody Miller! We loved meeting you!

I loved her booth too. I I have the exact hutch in my dining room (mine is the original wood though) and it is sooooo heavy. My couch is very similar to hers in size and shape and I have an awesome turquoise chair. She has great style and was so nice to. I can't wait to see what you snagged. Is it that hutch? If I was her I would have sold it, just to not have to move it.

No, it wasn't the hutch, although I tried. I also lobbied for the sofa, but no go. Although I wouldn't give it up if I were her either! We got a couple of smaller things...
