But then I found these Russian Valenki felt boots, which are not only supposed to be the warmest boot ever (After all, Russia knows cold weather) but I think they are super cute. Granted the valenki itself is not waterproof, so then you put them with rubber clogs and, I don't know, I just thought they were super cute!

I mean, not as mind-blowing as the pink snow boots I had in elementary school that had ice cream cones on the side that changed color with the weather--but still cute.
Man, wouldn't this be cool to get for a certain upcoming holiday?

ohhhh I love them!!! Are you going to get them? I'd love to hear a review. The only thing I would worry about it snowdrifts. (I'm looking to walk to work as well)
umm, those are amazing! wow, i just felted those bowls....hmmm maybe boots next!
Geez e, if you think you can make them for me I'll hold off on buying them. Anyway I kind of figured I would wait until after the holidays.
Jenni: I wondered about snowdrifts as well, but I think it will be ok as long as you get the rubber clog as well. Unless you have to walk through super high snowdrifts! In which case I don't know how good I would be at walking to work!
