We also have the re-edition DMC cross stitch albums. The original albums were fine sheets of paper simply stapled together, but these have been upgraded and bound. The patterns (which are awesome!) are the same as they were 100 years ago.

Sajou!
I'm so excited because we just got in some gorgeous Sajou embroidery books and thread! Sajou is a French company that is keeping the torch alive for some of France's oldest and most revered notion and haberdashery brands. Laine Saint-Pierre thread (which we have!) is a beautiful embroidery thread that has been made produced since the early 1900's.
