Uptown Coat
Here is my finished Uptown coat! The original pattern calls for a double breasted coat, but I wanted to use these ceramic buttons that a friend of ours made. Of course I didn't want to put them to the wear and tear that every day buttons get, so I put in large snaps on the inside of the coat as the official closers.

Those buttons are fabulous! I love amazing details and those definitely qualify. I don't know what's going on with the strange hair today - I've got it too, but I look more like Florence Henderson on crack.
Love it!! I want to make myself one...the cut could totally go over a baby bump!
