Anne Kyyro Quinn

Today I want to share with you the work of Anne Kyyro Quinn, a London based textile artist who creates three-dimensional wall hangings from felt, as well as other interior textile pieces (ottomans, pillows etc.). And when I say create, I mean by hand, which may not seem to exceptional until you see her work and realize how long and difficult it must have been to make.

I'm so impressed by people who see beyond the normal uses of textiles to bring new function to them. By creating her 3-d wall coverings Quinn completely changes a room. Not just it's look, but also it's feel (both physical and emotional) and I imagine, even it's acoustics.

E,
I am a big fan of her work. I have always like the playfulness of her pieces.
